Most people have periods in their life where everyday tasks feel overwhelming. It can come on slowly and creep up on you or it can come suddenly triggered by a major, or even a minor, life event.

Life is full of ups and downs, but if you're feeling anxious and down most of the time, or if you're feeling afraid of "losing it" and doing something you regret, it's time to ask for help.

FAQs

What types of counselling do you offer?

I offer one-on-one counselling, couples counselling and family counselling. Some people come on their own to talk things through. Others come with their partner or a family member. In my practice I draw on a wide range of client centred approaches to psychology. We’ll work in a way that suits you best.

How do I know if counselling is right for me?

If you're feeling low, anxious, stuck, or simply not feeling like yourself, I want you to know you're not alone and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Many people come to see me when things feel too much, even if they can't explain exactly why. I offer a calm, supportive space where we can talk things through and find what might help you feel more steady and clear. It is a space  in which we can explore what you are doing that isn’t working for you and discover the changes you need to make and the inner resources you have to make them.

Is your counselling service LGBTQIA+ inclusive?

Yes, it is. I work with people of all genders, sexualities, and backgrounds. This is a safe, respectful space where you’ll be listened to without judgment.

What is the cost of a counselling session?

Each session costs $160. I understand that counselling is a commitment, and I aim to make sure our time together is meaningful and supportive. If you’d like to know more about payments or how sessions work, you can visit the FAQs page for more information. You’re also welcome to contact me directly with any questions.

Can I come to counselling alone even if the issue involves my partner or family?

Yes, you can. Many people start on their own, even when the concern is about a relationship or family issue. It’s okay to take that first step by yourself. It gives you space to talk openly, get clear on how you’re feeling, and decide what you need. If you ever want to bring someone in later, we can talk about that when the time feels right. There’s no pressure, just support, one step at a time.
