I provide counselling to adults and young people regardless of their gender, sexual orientation or cultural background. I work with individuals and couples in crisis and much of the work is focused on resolving challenging relationship issues that come from both past and present circumstances.
In my practice, I draw on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy and a somatic approach informed by Bioenergetics. Essentially, my work is person-centred so together we work out what is most useful for you.
It is important to me that in the process of counselling, people become empowered and discover how best to care for themselves.
